During non service times the Cathedral turns into a museum and what a museum! Also you can climb the Giralda. The minaret tower of the former Aljama Mosque sent to build by the Khalifas Yusuf I and Yacub I starting construction in 1172 and finishing in 1198. With an impressive 84 meters (275ft) in it’s original shape. Later with the Christianization of the city, the tower reached it’s maximum height that we have today 104,5 meters (342,84ft) and was for a long period of time, the tallest tower in Europe until the Eiffel Tower was built.
